In our efforts to keep everyone updated on our situation we created a blog spot for everyone to access and for you to pass onto others who would like to stay informed on our progress. We will try to update as often as possible. Aunt Julie gave us the "Miracle Miller" name so we thought it was perfect to share with all of our family and friends.
We first would like to thank everyone for their support and prayers through this very difficult time in our lives. We understand that there is nothing anyone can say that will take away our pain but all the support of family and friends make this time easier for us to deal with and enrich our lives more than we can ever express. We lost Lawton on Friday who is our guardian Angel looking over his brother who misses him. Lawton is in Heaven and will continue to look down on our family and keep us safe.
We are so blessed with so many great friends that it is overwhelming how fortunate we are to have such a support network. We encourage you to email, call, visit or just support us so please continue to do so and do not worry about the false perception of intrusion. We LOVE it and want to say thank you!
Today we moved to room 219 and I finally have a bed to sleep on that does not have a metal bar in my back while I am sleeping. My golf game will surely suffer but that means all of my Bruze's will have to give me strokes once I do get back on the course. Dr. Uribe, Julie Long and the Seton staff have been the best. We can not say enough thanks to them for their support and dedication to our family. Dr. Uribe is amazing and if any of you ladies want a Doctor with a great bedside manner and a true appreciation of what it means to be a nurturing Doctor he is the man you want to see. Julie is also amazing and we love her so much for her support and friendship. They both are part of our family and we can never show enough appreciation for their support. We love you both!
We are doing great and Dana is a tough lady who is exceeding all expectations. Miller is great as well with a strong 160+ heartbeat. I appreciate her more with each day she is in my life and though this experience has shown us many difficult times, she is truly my world and I love her more than she will ever know. If I could take away this pain for her I would give anything to do so, I just try to be a good supportive husband and say "Yes Dear" more often.
All of our numbers, counts, and medical prognosis are as good as can be expected. We do have a large hill to climb and we both are up for the fight and look forward to the day we bring Miller home. We both know that this is in God's hands and we pray everyday that he will continue to keep this path in his plan.
I also want to apologize for any grammatical errors or poor sentence structure now as I am typing from a laptop and love spell checker which is not available on this tool. Please forward this link to anyone and everyone you feel would like to share in our Miracle story. Thank you again for all your support and well keep the light on for you.
You can reach us at mattdelo@sbcglobal.net or my cell (512) 289-3766. Thank you for your continued prayers and support.

Great idea to keep a blog Matt. I did not know you were so tech savvy.
It is wonderful to hear that Miller is still doing well. It also great to hear that you two are remaining so strong through such adversity. It is obvious your strength will bring this experience to a happy conclusion.
Do you have any comments on what the time table for Miller's birth is?
We are at 19 weeks and need to get to 24 minimum. We are taking it day by day at this point but we have a goal to take him as long as possible...
You have both amazed me with your courage and strength! There are more prayers for Miracle Miller than all the stars in the sky. Here is a verse I found today:
Your ways, O God, are holy.
What god is so great as our God?
You are the God who performs miracles;
you display your power among the peoples.
Psalm 77:13-14
David and I will continue to keep you, Dana, and Miller in our thoughts and prayers!!
Love you dearly!!!
David & Julie
I am so happy to see that Miller is showing all signs of a strong baby growing and growing! I am also so happy to hear that Dana is being her 'unbelieveable' self-- and showing her strength and courage to all of us-- as she always have.
I was listening to Patty Griffen today, and I love her song "Never Give Up". I think it could be the theme of this blog....when you guys get a chance, listen to it.
Please give Dana our hugs and kisses. As you both know, our hearts are with you all.
Love you guys-- God Bless!

Dana and Matt, we have been thinking about you and Miller and praying for everyone's health and comfort. You are in our thoughts and hearts as you journey this path. Please let us know if there is anything we can do.
Lots of love!

The Creek won't be the same without you over the next few weeks, and all of your Bruzes are here for you and Dana if you need anything at all!
Our thoughts and prayers are with you guys, and continue to stray positive and strong.
Jason I.
B and I are sending all of you much love and many prayers from NY!
Miller seems to have found the inner strength many of us take a life time to tap into. At such a young age Miller is teaching us all many lessons!
Thanks for the update, Matt. Your girl is, indeed, a strong woman, both in heart and soul! We are praying for Miller and for both of you. We love you.

Dana & Matt,
We were so sorry to hear about Lawton, I know that no words can ease your pain at this difficult time. George and I are praying for you and for Miller, so please know that you are in our thoughts and we are supporting you from Miami! You are both so strong and courageous, I have no doubt that you will come out of this difficult time closer and stronger than ever. Please let us know if there is anything we can do. God has a master plan that we don't understand, just have faith and find strength and comfort in one another. Thank you for the blog and keeping everyone informed.
Love you guys, God bless!

Matt and Dana- That little boy is stronger than you could ever IMAGINE. As you know, our son was very early and he amazes us every day with his courage. We have already been talking to the Man upstairs about your little fighter. And believe us, the power of prayer is so amazing.
By the way, the blog is a wonderful idea!
We're praying real hard for the three of you!
Love,
Danny and Stephanie Peoples
Dana and Matt -- Sam and I praying for you. Marjann just forwarded the link to this site. The Johnsons are great prayerers [is that a word??]. I know that if anyone can make it -- both you and Miracle Miller can! It sounds like you are in the best of hands with your hubby, Dr. Uribe, Julie and Seton -- plus, the nurses on the second floor are the best, bar none. P.S. - they have a stash of food/juices in the kitchens so do not hesitate to ask them to raid it for you! This may not be of interest to you but I have a good friend [Vaughn/Uribe patient] who "counsels" women who have walked your path. Her own journey is very similar to yours [she lost her twin at 16 weeks and made it to 25 with the other, who is turning 4 in January]. Anyway, she started a support group that visits women who are walking this path -- their strength and that of their husbands/spouses is amazing and inspiring. This may be of no interest to you so please just disregard this and forgive my intrusion to your privacy -- I just wanted you to know it exists in case you wanted to tap this resource. I'm happy to put them in touch with you. We also have a gold card for parking if you would like to borrow it -- you may already have one but we spent enough time over there that I finally bit the bullet, made a donation, and can now park for free - it's yours, just say the word. In the meantime, please know that you are in our continued thoughts and prayers. Go Miller go!! Love, Jennifer and Sam Johnson
You both continue to amaze us with your love...strength...and courage.
We were driving home from picking up Rhodes at camp in Burnet and talking about you all. Shannon said ..you know when we meet Miller one day I am going to call him "Miracle Miller". We all agreed that would be a perfect name for him. Then tonight we got your email about the new blog "Miracle Miller" and with tears in our eyes..we had no doubts that God is here and with you in this fight.
We love you and will continue to pray for all of you.
Dana and Matt~
You are all in our prayers and thoughts! Miracle Miller will be in our "special prayers" to keep fighting. Much love,
Christienne
